This session will feature an explanation of the purpose for and approach used when researching and writing Soviet Clandestine Mail Surveillance, 1917-1991.  Author, David Skipton, will share difficulties encountered when conducting research, his use of the internet for conducting “fieldwork”, thoughts on the significance of his findings and possible implications of conclusions made.
